A company has 40 hrs a week (minimum) to impact the lives of the people who work there, the lives of their clients, their suppliers, their shareholders and society. What if this “impact” was their focus? Would this change how they thought about things? Would it change how they prioritize “to do” lists? Would it change how they communicate with everyone?
Would this impact their bottom-line?
What kind of companies achieve EXTRAORDINARY results? And since it’s actually GREAT people in those companies who are ACHIEVING EXTRAORDINARY results – how do you:
- Hire those GREAT people
- Create a company and culture that those GREAT people WANT to work for
And then what makes someone EXTRAORDINARY at anything? You can take the same person, put them in one role at a company and they are mediocre and de-motivated. You can change the role and suddenly you start to see more excellence and results from them. Or you can take that same person, in that same role and put them at a different company and you start to see EXTRAORDINARY….so what is it?
